The seat occupancy mat is defective and the airbag indicator light is on?
The device simulates a permanently occupied front passenger seat for the airbag control unit. This means that the front passenger airbag is triggered in EVERY CASE in the event of a crash, even if nobody is sitting in the seat.
This module can also be fitted after seat conversions, such as sports seats from Recaro, König or Sparco, which have no seat occupancy.

AS THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ALWAYS DEPLOYS IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION, NO CHILD SEAT MAY BE INSTALLED ON A SEAT WITH A SIMULATOR AND WITHOUT A PASSENGER AIRBAG THAT CAN BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL.
